Argentinian Study
Israel, September 8 - 26, 2005
Israel's agricultural sector is characterized by an intensive system of production. This stems from the need to overcome the scarcity in natural resources, particularly water and arable land. The constat growth in agricultural production os due to the close cooperation between researchers, extemsionists, farmers and agriculture-related industries. These four factors are key in the development and application of new methods in all agricultural branches together with government support. The result is a modern agriculture in a country where over half area is desert.
The Galillee College, Department of Agriculture, will be conducting the following international programmes designed especially for agriculture professionals:
Water and Irrigation Management
Crop Production Management
Agro Business Management
Horticulture and Floriculture Management
Tuition scolarships are still currently available for participants from transitional countries.
