Argentinian Study
1. After you paste your results in Table A and B, several figures and analyses will be automatically done.
2. Break into two or more groups. Use one card to answer each of the following questions:
2.1. What patterns do you see in Figure A? Is the distribution of the errors random, or is there more variability in a certain range of disease severity? Relate your observations to the Weber-Fechner law (see Background ).
2.2. What parameters can be used to evaluate the accuracy and the precision of the estimates? See Table D.
2.3. Which scale enables more accurate and precise estimates of disease severity? Why?
2.4. How might the use of one of these scales (percentage and Horsfall-Barratt) affect your analyses and interpretation of results?
